Advanced praise for "The Da Vinci Dog".

Brinks and I appeared at book signings at Barnes & Noble stores. As you can see, the "artist" is somewhat aloof with his fans...except for the ones bearing Snausage snacks.

I wrote and developed the book's promotional website.

Brinks and I were invited to several events to talk about our book. Unfortunately, he has a habit of humping other dogs, so most of our appearances were rather short and sweet. We were also featured on CBS news...even after he stole the reporter's notebook.

Description

Every family with a dog has experienced a moment of frustration with their loyal companion. Maybe it was a favorite hat chewed to bits, wet paw prints on the kitchen floor, or a clean window covered in slobber. As owners, we see these things as mischievous and messy.

But how does your dog see it? What if he felt this was his means of creative expression? What if he considered himself an artist? And what if that goofy dog helped you see life from a different perspective?

THE DA VINCI DOG was published in 2007 and brought this concept to life as a satire on contemporary art. It earned the Independent Book Publishers Association’s Top Humor/Comedy/Satire of 2007, and it was named ForeWord Magazine’s “Book of the Year” in the pets category. I donate 25% of my profits to local and national animal shelters.
